//Concorde El Salam Front Hotel
Concorde El Salam Front Hotel is the sea side of a big two-part resort on White Knight Beach in Sharks Bay, and its jetty to the reef is the reason to come. Soho Square is a short walk; rooms are dated, paths steep and sunbeds go early. Book a Deluxe Sea View Room if you swim and snorkel.
Concorde El Salam is a big two-part resort on White Knight Beach in Sharks Bay, 8 km from the airport. The Front Hotel is the sea side: a lagoon-style infinity pool with a swim-up bar over the Red Sea, the spa, and a jetty running over the coral to the reef. The Sport Hotel sits a few hundred metres inland across the road, with the slides and the sports facilities, linked by a shuttle.
Snorkelling off the jetty is the best reason to come, and Soho Square is a 5-10 minute walk. Restaurants include the Laguna buffet and L'Italiano by the beach, with a piano bar and the Normandy II nightclub for later. There is a kids' club and a kids' pool. Meal plan varies by rate; you see what is included on the booking screen before you pay.
Reviewers agree that the rooms are clean but dated, the paths steep and the loungers gone by 8 am, with Sport Hotel guests sharing the small beach. The water off the jetty is deep, so the hotel suits swimmers more than toddlers. Book a Deluxe Sea View Room and go down early.

Yes, especially if your children swim. There is a kids' club, a kids' pool and a playground, and the slides are at the Sport Hotel across the road. The sea is entered from a jetty into deep water. The hotel does not publish kids' club ages, so ask before you book.
From a jetty. The Front Hotel has a small private beach on White Knight Beach, and the jetty runs over the coral to the reef edge. You step off into deep water, and the snorkelling is very good. Bring reef shoes.

Value pick:Deluxe Garden View Room — the same 45 m² and four-person layout, with a garden view instead of the sea; take it if your days will be spent on the jetty and at the pool.
