Baron Palms is the adults-only sister of Baron Resort at Ras Nasrani: a 230-room, 16+ hotel set among palms about 15–20 minutes from the airport, with the beach 80 metres from the rooms and nothing else within walking distance. The sea is why you come: a 600-metre sandy beach with cushioned loungers, a floating jetty onto a house reef that reviewers rank among the best in Sharm, and a dive shop on site.

The hotel itself is comfortable rather than smart. Two large pools with a waterfall and hot tubs, a spa with sauna and massage, the Tiran buffet, an Egyptian à la carte that gets the best mentions, a pasta station and the Rendezvous piano lounge. Evenings mean a pianist or a violinist on the terrace. The staff were amazing, Muhammed at the reception, Mukhtar and Mansoor at the beach were wonderful and very helpful. The animation team are very good, the beach is nice and the snorkeling area was very pretty. The cleaning staff were top-notch.
— I'm disappointed in the adult only concept. At the beach the seating area is separate, however the beach, water and snorkeling area is shared, so basically there kids and families everywhere. The only adult area was the pool. Hopefully in the future the management will address this issue.
