A big, old-school Ras Nasrani family resort whose case rests on the sea: a 600 m sandy beach, a pontoon onto a house reef, and Tiran Island in the sea-view rooms' windows. Rooms are dated and nothing is walkable, but the water, the pools and the kids' clubs do the job. Pay for the sea view.

Know before you book

• Rooms are dated: clean and spacious, but furniture and bathrooms show their age.
  → Ask for a recently refreshed room at booking; reviews say management has promised renovations.
• In-room Wi-Fi is a paid extra and reviewers call the connection patchy.
  → Buy a local SIM at the airport if you need reliable data, and treat the room as offline.
• À la carte restaurants need reservations and the seafood one gets mixed reviews.
  → Book Taj Mahal and the Italian early in the week; the Sinai buffet is the safe fallback.

  Overall, we had a good stay, but there are some areas that need improvement.

  * The food variety and quality were very good. * The hotel has a very nice beachfront location. * The entertainment team and evening shows were very enjoyable. * Most of the staff were cooperative, friendly, and professional.

  — • The rooms are outdated, did not imagined it will like that for 5 star hotel and the bathrooms definitely need renovation. • The service response time needs improvement. We requested an iron, and it took around 1.5 hours and four phone calls before it was delivered. • last day, during dinner, we requested juice and cola, but after waiting for more than 15 minutes without receiving them, we eventually left the restaurant. • As part of the all-inclusive package, we were given a voucher for restaurants. However, when we tried to book, we were told that the seafood restaurant was fully booked. We then asked about the Italian restaurant, but unfortunately, that was fully booked as well. Giving guests restaurant vouchers without having any available reservations was disappointing.
