//Charmillion Club Resort
A big Nabq Bay family resort, the former Sea Club, close to the airport and far from Naama Bay, with a 147-metre jetty out to a genuinely good reef. Rooms are dated and the buffet divides opinion. Choose it for the snorkelling and the kids' club, and go in with the right expectations.
Charmillion Club Resort is the former Sea Club Resort in Nabq Bay, the strip of big resorts north of the airport. It is a 374-room family resort with heated pools, a kids' club for ages 3–12, and a 147-metre jetty running out over the coral to a reef that reviewers rate as the best thing about it. The shoreline itself is shallow and rocky; you swim from the pier, in reef shoes.
Dining is the main buffet plus La Vue (French), Il Melograno (Italian) and Il Pescatore (seafood), and guests also mention using restaurants at the neighbouring Charmillion sister resorts. The à la carte gets praise; the buffet does not. Meal plan varies by rate, and fresh juices and ice cream are charged.
The honest picture is a well-staffed, clean, dated resort. Reviews repeat the same points: rooms need refurbishing, air conditioning is weak or noisy, evenings are quiet, and Nabq's wind puts dust on balconies. One building is under renovation until 30 September 2026. The airport is about 7 km, 10–15 minutes; Naama Bay is 25 km, so plan on Soho Square for evenings out. If you want newer rooms in the same bay with a reef, Steigenberger Alcazar; if you want walkability, stay in Naama Bay.
Everything
Location perfect, staff friendly, Specially Receptionist Mr. Abdelkhaleq he is very supportive, Food very delicious
A beautiful resort for a family vacation, clean rooms, nice food, amazing snorkelling spots even directly from the beach and above all the staff was great. Special thanks to Abdo on reception desk for his warm welcoming and cooperation. Hassan from lobby bar went far and beyond to serve us in the best way, very attentive and polite. Also Abdelraouf from lobby bar was helpful and decent.
No. It is a family resort with a kids' club for ages 3 to 12 and rooms that sleep four. For adults-only, look at Sharks Bay or Sharm El Maya.
Over 700 metres of private beach, but the shoreline is shallow and rocky, so you swim from the 147-metre jetty. At its end is a coral reef that reviewers consistently rate; reef shoes and a snorkel are the two things to pack.
The hotel gives about 7 km and 10–15 minutes, one of the shortest transfers in Sharm. Most rates do not include a transfer; a taxi or a pre-booked car is straightforward.
Superior Double or Twin Beach Front for position; Junior Suite with Sea View (62 sqm, sleeps four) if you want space. Garden view is the saving.
Not much on foot. Soho Square is about 5.5 km by taxi for restaurants and bars; Naama Bay is 25 km. And yes, the resort was formerly Sea Club Resort.

The same 42 sqm and up-to-four occupancy as the garden rooms, but on the front line by the sand, which shortens the walk with children and snorkel gear to the jetty. In a resort with 374 rooms, position is worth more than an extra category.
Value pick:Superior Double or Twin Room with Garden View — same size and occupancy at a lower rate, with a longer walk to the sea.
Your local reef is at the end of the pier: a coral shelf with lots of fish and lifeguards watching. Go on calm mornings; Nabq gets windy and the bay chops up.
The nearest evening out: a pedestrian square of restaurants, bars and shops. A short taxi rather than the 25 km run to Naama Bay; TripAdvisor lists it at 3.4 miles.

If you make the trip to Naama Bay, start at the promenade: the strip, the market and the bay in one walk. Make it a full evening; the taxi is the cost.
