Mövenpick Resort Sharm El Sheikh is built into the hill above Naama Bay, and everything follows from that. The architecture is Moorish, carved wood and tile; the views from the terraces are the widest on the bay; and Naama's strip is 25 minutes' walk downhill or six minutes by taxi, close enough to use and far enough not to hear. Below the resort are its own private coves, a mix of sand, rock, jetty and coral, with snorkelling that reviewers rate.
There are just under 300 rooms. Classic and Deluxe rooms are 24 sqm with sea or partial sea views; Superior rooms are 35 sqm and sleep four. Ten restaurants and bars include Liwa (buffet), Rangoli (Indian), El Kebabgy (grills and mezze) and the Horizon bar. There is a heated pool with a kids' section, a kids' club, Lotus Spa with a hammam, and a dive centre. Meal plan varies by rate.
The trade-off is physical. The grounds are large and stepped, the last full renovation was in 2010 and it shows, and in-room Wi-Fi is weak. The airport is about ten minutes. If steps are a problem, Novotel is flat on the sand in Naama Bay; if the reef matters more than the view, DoubleTree Sharks Bay.
I had a wonderful stay at Mövenpick and would definitely recommend the hotel. What truly stood out was the exceptional service and dedication of the staff. A special thank you to Aya at the reception, who went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly during my stay. She was always available to answer any questions or assist with any request, even after her working hours. Her professionalism, kindness, and genuine care made a big difference and made me feel truly welcomed and valued as a guest. The entire team was friendly, attentive, and committed to providing excellent service. I truly appreciate their efforts and look forward to staying at Mövenpick again.

No. It is a family resort with a kids' club, a kids' pool and a playground, and Superior rooms sleep four. For adults-only nearby, look at Sharks Bay or Sharm El Maya.
The resort has its own private coves below the hill: a mix of jetty, sand, rock and coral, with snorkelling reviewers rate. You reach them on paths and steps through the grounds; we could not verify an internal shuttle, so ask the hotel if stairs are a concern.
