Sheraton Sharm opened in 1999 on the Al Pasha coast, the stretch between the airport and Naama Bay, and it is built at scale: ten restaurants and bars, a Main pool with swim-up bar, a Cave pool, a children's Cascade pool, tennis, a kids' club and a spa (check it is open; it closed for works in late 2025). The White Cruiser buffet runs themed nights, with Dar El Qamar for Lebanese and Portofino for Italian.
The sea is the strong card. There is no sand beach, but a pier drops divers and snorkellers onto a reef that reviewers rank above the Nabq area, and the dive shop earns repeat bookings. Rooms in the Main building are 38–40 m² with big balconies facing the water; Villa and Standard rooms are 22 m².
The weak card is age. Reviewers describe a dated, 1970s look, tired bathrooms, food that arrives lukewarm, and construction at times. The cave pool means very steep steps. Nothing is walkable: the airport is about 10 minutes, Naama Bay 4 km by taxi. If you want a walk-in sandy beach and a strip on foot, Novotel or Stella Di Mare; if you want a newer reef hotel, Sharks Bay. Meal plan varies by rate, so check what yours covers.
I checked in and was able to get a room at 11-17 in the morning.Room with a sea view and very big,clean,well maintained. Everyone were so welcoming 😌 security,front desk, concierge.Beach is nice and comfortable,sunbeds in good condition with a soft mattress.Clean swimming pools,nice jetty- enough room for swimming in the sea, unfortunately during my stay until 4 pm we had a waves,jetty was still open- but wasnt very convenient for swimming.Breakfast was amazing - dry fruits, energy shots,great yogurt with mango,good choice of cheese.Gym works 24/7 - they have a personal trainer there too,can help you to adjust or spot you.👍💪 special thank you to - Rana El Masry, guest relation representative.Gehad front desk and Salima - restaurant host.I wish for them great career and all the best.It was nice to meet you.
— I had only half board - and I was not so happy with a dinner and restaurant seats.Was full and no choice of food for me personally,not much meat,food quality not for 5 star hotel.Ala cart Lebanese restaurant was very poor quality of product too.No seats,hotel big - restaurant small,outside seating still too hot.Plus needs to set up piano- it's not in a good condition for enjoying the sound of it.Please refresh flowers at least twice a week,at reception - have your own Animation don't have a good beach volleyball 🏐,get a few normal balls and keep them with a recreation (towel guys). Animation friendly and trying they best.a lot of pools,I like the pool with camels,they have boards for floating.

Visited the Sheraton in March 26 with a friend, hotel was stunning, clean and well maintained (bathrooms could use an update but nothing that would affect your holiday). Food was good standard, plenty of choice in main restaurant and at the à la carte although the snack bar may as well be non existent as there was no choice and it was served in polystyrene cartons. The drinks were fab; Mohammed at the pool bar created fabulous cocktails and kept us happy. We are in our 30’s and 40’s and the only real complaint I have is the entertainment, it was very basic, but what was the biggest waste was the karaoke room that only opened at 10pm until 11:30. It was busy every night In there, fab atmosphere but should be open from 9 til late to accommodate the visitors who don’t just want to sit In the lobby bar playing cards. Great place with a few tweaks but enjoyed our holiday!

Use the hotel's taxi desk or a ride-hailing app. A family who stayed in August 2026 found an app cheaper than the hotel's own taxis, but app drivers collect you outside the gate, so you walk out from the lobby first. If you take a street taxi, agree the fare there and back before you get in.
Check before you book. The hotel's own site says the spa closed for renovation from 20 August 2025 until the end of December 2025, with massages offered only on the beach during the works, and as of October 2026 that notice is still up. Ask the hotel to confirm the spa is fully open on your dates.
At 40 m² it is nearly twice the size of the 22 m² Villa and Standard rooms, in the Main building with a balcony facing the sea, and reviewers repeatedly mention the space and the huge balconies. In a resort whose décor is the weak point, the view is what you are paying for.
