A big, older Hadaba resort that earns its keep on two things: a sandy walk-in beach with a pontoon out to the Temple reef, and an aqua park that keeps children busy all day. Rooms are dated and the beach fills up; book it for the water and the rate, not the polish.
Reef Oasis Beach Resort is a large four-star on Hadaba, the plateau above Um El Sid at the southern end of Sharm, and it overlooks the Temple reef. Rooms run from 35 m² Superior to a 45 m² Deluxe Family and a 100 m² Royal Suite; the venues include Cibum, Gioconda and Citadel restaurants, a Nemo's Kids Club, a spa and a dive centre. The aqua park and the number of pools are what sell it to families.
The water is the real strength. The beach has a sandy, walk-in entry, and a pontoon reaches past the buoys onto the Temple reef, so children paddle while snorkellers go out over proper coral. Reviewers call the reef fantastic; they also call the beach too small for the crowd, so timing matters.
What you give up is polish. Rooms are older and vary, food is hit and miss, and some slides sit idle. Nothing is walkable; Old Sharm and Al Fanar are a short taxi, Naama Bay 10–15 minutes. If you want newer rooms and a house reef, Sharks Bay hotels cost more; if you want the town on foot, look at Naama Bay. Meal plan varies by rate, so check what your rate covers before you count on dinner.
Well organized staff and facility have an excellent landscape and peysage, sea view and many exceptional meals from different cultures. We have been to be happy to choose this property. The hotel have been excellent fishes and reefs in its beach, so swimming with different colors and types fishes was very spectacular experience. Also Mr. Khaled who is responsible for the guest at reception is very kind and friendly person, many thanks for his time.
The hotel was huge, and had so many pools so it never felt like one pool was overcrowded. The food was really good with so many varieties. The staff were extremely friendly, and helpful. Special thanks to Bishoy (pool bar), Ali (pool lifeguard), Mahmoud and Karim (waiters).
— It felt like the hotel was understaffed, very slow service when requesting anything from the reception. The room service is not existing (we called 4 times and no one even answered). The beds and pillows arent very comfortable. Unlike most hotels in Sharm, it was boring at night, only international music were played and not Egyptian nor Arabic. Since you have this huge hotel, you can make an area for Arabic music. When cleaning they took my hand towels and left me for hours without any replacement despite asking multiple times (even calling the reception didnt help much). I asked for an iron in my room and waited more than 4-5 hours for it, they brought an iron from the 90s which was extremely heavy and they took it the next day while cleaning. When departing we called for porter service, and waited for over one and a half hour - not the best way to leave the hotel.
My family and I had a wonderful and enjoyable stay at Reef Oasis Beach. The entire experience was excellent, and I would like to thank all the staff who made our stay so comfortable and memorable. Reception: The reception team was extremely helpful, respectful, and professional, especially Mr. Mohamed Abdulazim, Mr. Mohamed, and Mrs. Nouha. They were always welcoming and ready to assist us whenever needed. Beach & Entertainment: The beach was beautiful and well-maintained, with a great atmosphere. The music and entertainment activities were enjoyable and added a wonderful, lively touch to our stay Housekeeping: A special thanks to the Housekeeping Manager and Mr. Taha, who were very helpful and supportive throughout our stay. Park/Pool Area: The staff in the pool and surrounding areas were active, friendly, and always ready to help. Special thanks to Mr. El Sheshtawy, Abdo, Samer, Nader, and Ali for their excellent service. Pool Staff: The pool team was very helpful and attentive, especially Mr. Abdulrahman, who was always available to assist. Restaurant: The restaurant staff were amazing, professional, and hardworking. They were always attentive and happy to assist guests. The food was delicious, with a great variety and excellent quality.
