Sharm El Sheikh hotels with an aqua park or water slides
For an aqua park holiday with children in Sharm El Sheikh, start with Pickalbatros Aqua Blu in Hadaba: 25 pools, four of them heated, a wave pool, a lazy river and dozens of slides, most of them for children. Rixos Premium Seagate in Nabq Bay is close behind, with 23 slides on six towers and a better beach. Parrotel, Sunrise Diamond Beach, JAZ Mirabel, Sunrise Montemare and Reef Oasis publish far less about their parks (Reef Oasis says its park is closed for renovation from 10 January to 28 February 2027), while Park Regency and Renaissance Golden View have one slide each. For each hotel we cover what the park has, who it suits, any published height limit and how you get into the sea.

- 25 poolskids' aqua parkheated poolsbeach by shuttleCurator's verdict
The strongest family water park on this list: a water park with rooms. Book it for the slides and pools, not for the sea.
- Who it suits:
- Families with children aged 4–12 who will spend the week in the pools and on the slides.
- Good to know:
- The beach is at sister hotel Albatros Sharm Resort, about 650 m away by free shuttle. The hotel publishes no age or height limits for the slides, so ask the lifeguards on your first day which ones your children can use.

A water park with rooms in Hadaba: 25 pools, four of them heated, a wave pool, a lazy river and dozens of slides, most of them in the kids' aqua park. The Alba Kids Club takes ages 4–12, Midway Street adds bumper boats and VR games, and guests can also use the neighbouring Pickalbatros Aqua Park's pools until midnight.
The park is the whole point of the hotel, not an add-on, and the heated pools help in winter. The sea is the weak spot: the beach belongs to sister hotel Albatros Sharm Resort, about 650 m away by free shuttle, with a small reef off a 40 m pontoon. The hotel publishes no height limits for the slides, and reviewers say some can close at lunchtime.
- 23 slidesteens clubsandy beachloud eveningsCurator's verdict
A big aqua park and a sandy beach in the same resort, which Aqua Blu cannot match. Book the main Seagate side and take the shuttle to the slides.
- Who it suits:
- Families with children aged 4–17 who want slides, clubs and a sandy beach without leaving the resort.
- Good to know:
- Rooms tagged (Aqua) sit beside the park across the road, and reviewers advise the main side. The hotel publishes no height limits for the slides.

Rixos's Aquaventure park has 23 slides on six towers, a lazy river and a wave pool, according to the hotel's own site. It sits on the Seagate Aqua side across the road from the Nabq Bay beach resort, linked by shuttle.
It suits families with children aged 4 to 17 who want a week without leaving: Rixy Kids Club takes 4–12, a teens club 10–17, and unlike at Aqua Blu, the wide, sandy beach is part of the resort and stays shallow a long way out. The price is noise and distance. Reviewers report shows and afterparties until 2am, and Naama Bay is 18 km by taxi.
- lazy river3 kids' poolsairport 10-15 minbeach across the roadCurator's verdict
A family hotel built around its aqua park, a short ride from the airport. Check that your rate covers the park before you pay.
- Who it suits:
- Families with young children who want a pools-and-slides week and a short transfer.
- Good to know:
- Some listings show the aqua park as an extra charge, and it is not clear that every slide runs out of season. The beach is across the road and you swim off a pier, so bring reef shoes.

A 401-room four-star in Nabq Bay, the former Park Inn by Radisson, built around its own aqua park: slides, a lazy river and splash zones, with two main pools and three children's pools around them. A kids' club and an animation team that reviewers praise fill the rest of the day, and the airport is 10–15 minutes away.
The hotel says the park suits all ages, and the youngest have splash zones and their own pools. Two catches: some listings show the aqua park as an extra charge, so check what your rate covers, and the beach is across the road, entered from a pier. Rooms are basic and you hear the planes.
- kids' play zonekids' club till 10pmjetty reefhillsideCurator's verdict
A well-run family resort where the aqua park is one reason to stay among several, alongside the jetty reef and the family rooms.
- Who it suits:
- Families with children aged 4–12 who want an aqua park, a kids' club into the evening and a reef for the parents.
- Good to know:
- Steps between buildings and beach, a busy buffet at peak hours, and no published slide count or height rule. Ask for a lower building away from the kids' club and aqua park.

A 440-room family resort on Um El Sid hill in Hadaba, with an aqua park that includes a kids' play zone, four pools and a kids' club for ages 4–12 open until 10pm. Neither our page nor the hotel's own site gives a slide count or a height limit.
It is a family resort first: bunk-bed family rooms, family suites, a small sandy beach and a jetty onto a reef guests rate highly. The resort climbs the hill in 11 buildings, so steps or the shuttle bus are part of every day, and the buffet is loud at peak hours.
- kids' slide poolsshallow lagoon735 m jettyhuge siteCurator's verdict
Slides for small children beside a lagoon they can paddle in. Book a room in Mirabel Beach, near the sea and the kids' pools.
- Who it suits:
- Families with small children who want kids' slide pools and a shallow sea in one resort.
- Good to know:
- The hotel publishes no slide count or kids' club ages, and Park and Club rooms are about 500 m from the beach. The jetty closes under red flags on windy days.

One large Nabq Bay complex sold as three hotels: Mirabel Beach nearest the sea, and Park and Club about 500 m back. All three share an aqua park, the Jazy Kids Club and the beach. Mirabel Beach adds kids' pools with slides and a slide pool for adults, and in Park and Club one main pool and the kids' pool are heated in winter.
It is here for families who want slides for small children and a gentle sea: the beach opens onto a shallow lagoon fine for paddling, and a 735 m jetty crosses it to the reef. The hotel publishes no slide count and no kids' club ages. Book Mirabel Beach, or you will walk 500 m to the sea every day.
- 6 slides120 cm minimumjetty reefstony beachCurator's verdict
A small aqua park in a well-run resort with a good reef. For families with young children, the 120 cm rule decides it.
- Who it suits:
- Families whose children are taller than 120 cm and who also want a reef off the jetty.
- Good to know:
- There is no walk-in sand: the beach is stony and you swim from the jetty. The site is terraced, and the shuttle queues at busy times.

Six slides and a kids' play zone make up the aqua park here, and the hotel's own site sets a minimum height of 120 cm for the slides. The resort steps down the Um El Sid cliff in Hadaba, with a kids' club for ages 4–12 open from 09:00 to 22:00.
Choose it if your children clear 120 cm and you want to snorkel too: the jetty drops you over a good reef. The beach has large, slippery stones, so you swim from the jetty, not the sand. One family reviewer found the slides too few, and older listings still call the hotel adults-only, which is out of date.
- walk-in sandpontoon reefmany poolsvalueCurator's verdict
A sandy walk-in beach makes this one of the easiest seas for small children on the list; the park itself is a bonus, not the reason to book.
- Who it suits:
- Families on a budget with young children who need a beach they can walk into.
- Good to know:
- The hotel says the aqua park is closed for renovation from 10 January to 28 February 2027. Reviewers also found some slides out of action, so ask which are running before you pay.

A big, older four-star on the Hadaba plateau with an aqua park, many pools and Nemo's Kids Club. Reviewers say some slides are out of action and the equipment looks dated, so treat the park as a bonus. The hotel says the aqua park is closed for renovation from 10 January to 28 February 2027.
Its real strength for young families is the sea: a sandy, walk-in beach where children can paddle, and a pontoon past the buoys onto the Temple reef. Rooms are dated and the beach is small for the crowd, so sunbeds go early. Naama Bay is 10–15 minutes by taxi.
- one slidecoral-free sandeasy reefsteep siteCurator's verdict
Book it for the beach and the easy reef; the slide is a bonus.
- Who it suits:
- Families with small children who care more about a gentle sandy entry than a slide park.
- Good to know:
- Steps and steep climbs separate reception, pools and beach. Ask for a Sea Front Room down by the water.

Not an aqua park: Park Regency has one corkscrew water slide, a children's pool and a kids' club among three cascading pools in Gardens Bay, Ras Nasrani, about 20 minutes from the airport.
It is here for families who want one slide and a sea entry made for small children: soft sand with no coral at the entry, and the shallow Middle Garden reef off the jetty for first-time snorkellers. The site is steep with plenty of steps, and reviewers find the furniture tired.
- one slidehouse reefstrong currentstairsCurator's verdict
A reef hotel with a slide, not a slide hotel. Choose it if the snorkelling matters most.
- Who it suits:
- Families with confident swimmers who want a jetty onto a living reef.
- Good to know:
- Many stairs between rooms, pools and beach, and buggy queues at busy times. Naama Bay is about 20 minutes by taxi.

A 384-room resort terraced down Om El Seid hill at the southern tip of Sharm, with a water slide, three named pools, a kids' club and 350 metres of private beachfront below.
It suits families whose children already swim well and parents who came for the reef: the jetty drops you onto coral with stingrays and lionfish. Reviewers warn about the current, find the pools shallow and the resort crowded in high season, and everyone mentions the stairs.
Prices and availability are checked live before booking.
About this list
We read every Sharm El Sheikh hotel page we publish and kept only the hotels whose page, or whose own website, confirms an aqua park or water slides on site. Nine qualified. Seven have an aqua park: Pickalbatros Aqua Blu, Rixos Premium Seagate, Parrotel Aquapark Resort, Sunrise Diamond Beach, JAZ Mirabel, Sunrise Montemare and Reef Oasis, whose park is closed for renovation from 10 January to 28 February 2027. Park Regency and Renaissance Golden View have one slide each. Charmillion Club Resort is not on the list: its site mentions access to an aqua park without saying which one, and the group's slides are at a separate sister hotel, Charmillion Club Aqua Park. We ranked them by what the park gives a family, then by how easy the sea is.
Slide counts matter less than four other things: whether your children can walk into the sea, how far the beach is from your room, how many steps lie between your room and the pool, and how late the entertainment runs. Aqua Blu's beach is a shuttle ride away and Parrotel's is across the road. Rixos is loud until late, four hotels sit on slopes, and the beach at Reef Oasis fills up early.
Before you pay, ask the hotel which slides are running, what the height rule is, whether your rate covers the aqua park and, in winter, which pools are heated. The meal plan varies by rate; you see what is included on the booking screen before you pay.
What to check before booking an aqua park hotel in Sharm
Children's ages and height limits
Only Sunrise Montemare publishes a height rule: a minimum of 120 cm for its slides. Rixos, Pickalbatros Aqua Blu, Sunrise Diamond Beach and JAZ Mirabel give no height or age limits, and Parrotel says its park suits all ages, so ask in writing before you pay. The kids' clubs at Rixos, Aqua Blu and both Sunrise hotels take ages 4–12, and Rixos adds a teens club for 10–17. Parrotel and JAZ Mirabel do not publish their kids' club ages.
Winter: are the pools heated?
No hotel on this list says its slide pools are heated. Pickalbatros Aqua Blu heats four of its 25 pools, JAZ Mirabel one main pool and the kids' pool in its Park and Club section, and Renaissance Golden View lists one heated pool, La Rotunda. Reef Oasis says its aqua park is closed for renovation from 10 January to 28 February 2027. In January and February daytime highs average about 22–23 °C and nights 13–14 °C, and the sea is coolest in February at about 22.7 °C. For a December–February trip, ask which slides run and which pools are heated before you pay.
Sea entry or pool days
If your children cannot swim yet, sand matters more than slides. Reef Oasis has a walk-in sandy beach (its aqua park is closed 10 January–28 February 2027), Rixos a wide beach that stays shallow a long way out, Park Regency soft sand with no coral at the entry, and JAZ Mirabel a shallow lagoon fine for paddling. Aqua Blu's beach is a shuttle ride away at a sister hotel, with a gentle sandy entry and a short pontoon. At Parrotel, Sunrise Montemare and Renaissance Golden View you swim from a pier or jetty, and reviewers at Renaissance warn about the current.
Which area: Hadaba, Nabq Bay, Naama Bay or Sharks Bay
Five of the nine are in Hadaba, where the Old Market is about 10–15 minutes and Naama Bay about 10–20 minutes by taxi. Three are in Nabq Bay, close to the airport but far from town: Naama Bay is 16 km from Parrotel, 18 km from Rixos and 19 km from JAZ Mirabel. Park Regency is in Ras Nasrani. None of our Naama Bay hotel pages lists a slide, and in Sharks Bay DoubleTree has only a kids' pool with a slide. Two aqua park hotels give you an evening out on foot: Pickalbatros Aqua Blu, a 20-minute walk from the Old Market, and Sunrise Diamond Beach, a short walk from Il Mercato.
Slopes, steps and pushchairs
Sunrise Diamond Beach, Sunrise Montemare, Renaissance Golden View and Park Regency are all built on slopes, with steps between rooms, pools and beach. Shuttles and buggies run, but reviewers report queues at busy times. At JAZ Mirabel the problem is size: Park and Club rooms are about 500 m from the beach. With a pushchair, ask for a room near the beach or the pools you will use.
Questions before you book
Which Sharm El Sheikh hotel has the best aqua park for children?
Pickalbatros Aqua Blu in Hadaba. It is a water park with rooms: 25 pools, four of them heated, a wave pool, a lazy river and dozens of slides, most of them in the kids' aqua park. Rixos Premium Seagate in Nabq Bay has 23 slides on six towers and the better beach; its park sits across the road from the beach side, linked by shuttle.
Are there height or age limits on the slides?
Only Sunrise Montemare publishes one: its six slides need a minimum height of 120 cm. Rixos, Pickalbatros Aqua Blu, Sunrise Diamond Beach and JAZ Mirabel give no limits, and Parrotel says its park suits all ages, so ask the hotel in writing before you pay. At Aqua Blu, also ask the lifeguards on your first day which slides your children can use.
Which aqua park hotel suits children under 4?
JAZ Mirabel. It has kids' pools with slides, and its beach opens onto a shallow lagoon fine for paddling. Book Mirabel Beach, the section nearest the sea and the kids' pools. The kids' clubs at Rixos, Aqua Blu and both Sunrise hotels start at age 4, and JAZ Mirabel and Parrotel do not publish their club ages.
Are the aqua parks open and heated in winter?
Not all of them. Reef Oasis says its aqua park is closed for renovation from 10 January to 28 February 2027. Pickalbatros Aqua Blu heats four of its 25 pools and JAZ Mirabel one main pool and the kids' pool in its Park and Club section, but no hotel on this list says its slide pools are heated. In January and February daytime highs average about 22–23 °C and nights 13–14 °C, so ask the hotel which slides run and which pools are heated before you pay.
Is the Rixos aqua park inside the hotel?
Not quite. The Aquaventure park is on the Seagate Aqua side across the road, next to the rooms tagged (Aqua), while the beach, the pier and most restaurants are on the main side. Reviewers who stayed on the Aqua side advise the main side and say the shuttle runs every 15 minutes.
Do these aqua park hotels have their own beach?
Most do, but not always next to your room. Pickalbatros Aqua Blu has no beach on site: guests take a free shuttle to sister hotel Albatros Sharm Resort's beach, about 650 m away. Parrotel's beach is across the road, and JAZ Mirabel's Park and Club rooms are about 500 m from the sea. Rixos is the other way round: the beach is on the main side and the slides across the road.
Is there an aqua park hotel in Naama Bay or Sharks Bay?
Not among the hotels we have reviewed. Our Naama Bay pages (Novotel, Mövenpick, Stella Di Mare) list no slides, and in Sharks Bay DoubleTree has a kids' pool with a slide rather than an aqua park. The nearest aqua park hotels to Naama Bay are in Hadaba: Pickalbatros Aqua Blu, 7 km by taxi, and Reef Oasis, 10–15 minutes by taxi, whose aqua park is closed for renovation from 10 January to 28 February 2027.
Are meals included at these hotels?
The meal plan varies by rate; you see what is included on the booking screen before you pay. At Rixos, à la carte restaurants are booked through the hotel's own system, so check what your rate covers before counting on them.
