Sunrise Diamond Beach sits on Um El Sid hill in Hadaba, 25 km from the airport by the hotel's count. Opened in 2007 and renovated in 2022, it has 440 rooms in 11 buildings stepping down to a small private beach and a jetty over the reef. A shuttle bus links the top of the site to the sand; anyone with mobility issues should know the steps are real.
It is a family resort first. Four pools including an infinity pool, an aqua park with a kids' zone, a kids' club for ages 4–12 open until 10 pm, bunk-bed family rooms, and six restaurants (Jewels buffet, Basilico Italian, Gamila Egyptian, Manohar Indian, Mongolian Grill and Felucca seafood) plus a dozen bars including a pub and a shisha café. Meal plan varies by rate. The buffet at peak hours is the thing guests grumble about; the à la carte places are the answer.
Above it sits Posh Club: jacuzzi, swim-up and pool suites, a presidential suite and a villa, with a butler, a private lounge, express check-in and the airport transfer. An adults-only pool and a 16+ beach area keep the grown-ups a step apart. For a walk, Il Mercato's strip is nearby; for a reef you wade into, Al Fanar is a short taxi.
