Jimbaran Puri, a Belmond Hotel
A small, quiet cluster of cottages and villas, closer to a private house than a big resort, with direct access to the sand. Most rooms face the garden, so a sea view means booking the Beach View category; currents sometimes turn the sea murky, making the pool the more reliable swim.
