A beach club on Melasti Beach in Ungasan, on the south coast of the Bukit Peninsula. It has a 12-metre pool a few steps from the sand, sun loungers, daybeds and cabanas. The restaurant serves tapas, seafood, pizzas and burgers. The road down to Melasti is cut through white limestone cliffs.
A beach club on Melasti; the road down is cut through white cliffs, and that's half the fun. Go in the afternoon and stay for the late light. The beach faces south, so the sun doesn't set into the sea. The front daybeds have a minimum spend, and the beach charges its own small entry at the top, so carry cash.

A small design hotel built around an art gallery, live music and a restaurant; there is no shared pool, and only the top suite category has its own. The beach is about six minutes on foot; light sleepers should factor in street noise and thin walls.
