A relaxed beach club in Sanur with a shallow pool and a playground, so a good lunch with kids. Order the handmade pasta. Book at weekends, and ask about the pool when you do. On a clear day you can see Mount Agung.

A small design hotel built around an art gallery, live music and a restaurant; there is no shared pool, and only the top suite category has its own. The beach is about six minutes on foot; light sleepers should factor in street noise and thin walls.
