A viewpoint on the hill above Amed, about 30 minutes by car, looking straight at Mount Agung. On a clear morning you can also see Rinjani on Lombok. The road is steep and the last stretch is a short, steep walk. Foreign visitors pay a small entrance fee. Bring a warm layer and water; nothing is sold at the top.
Worth the early alarm.
The plan that stops here
A curator note — a personal recommendation, not a bookable product. Not automatically included in any stay or experience.
A small design hotel built around an art gallery, live music and a restaurant; there is no shared pool, and only the top suite category has its own. The beach is about six minutes on foot; light sleepers should factor in street noise and thin walls.
Prices and availability are checked live before booking.
