Amed’s best-known snorkelling bay, about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. You swim straight out from the beach; masks and fins are rented on the sand. The reef is patchy in places but full of fish. The water is calmest between 8 am and 1 pm; after 4 pm works too. Never stand on the coral.

The plan that stops here
A curator note — a personal recommendation, not a bookable product. Not automatically included in any stay or experience.
A small design hotel built around an art gallery, live music and a restaurant; there is no shared pool, and only the top suite category has its own. The beach is about six minutes on foot; light sleepers should factor in street noise and thin walls.
